Nope, still extremely good under braking and no loss of traction even in the wet. Might be a different story once the new engine is built but for now it's fine Judging by the wear pattern on the tyres the camber seems to work well.

Sounds good, I was impressed with how much grip I gained going up to 2. Interested in how you ended up with 4 degrees, was it steady small increases over a period of time or a recommendation from someone? Any tyre temps or anything taken when you are trackside? I would absolutely love to have a passenger ride it, it sounds mental! Trial and error really!

Used to run a bit more toe out on the back before i caged the car to encourage some better turn in, but with the added stiffness of the cage, the last trip to knockhill on the old suspension the back end was tail happy and required too much corrective steering out the corners So thats why the rear toe out was reduced, ideally you want to have a rear end which is planted on circuit then you can work about how to improve turn in etc from adjustments up front Used to run about -3 deg with the old suspension but with the new stuff added more negative.

But I have not figured it out the thickness for the front and rear. I see that 22mm rear would be good but dont want … Read more ».

Hi Dave, I have been following the K20 track build that you guys did. So, it seems like K-tuned street coilovers would be a still good compromise for the budget. At least for now I still drive it daily. Lots of Integra guys out there running them with good results. Let us know how they work for you! Good to know… I appreciate the feedback. I actually just received them with the godspeed rear sway bar 25mm. Not going to touch the front sway bar yet to see how it will rotate.

I will let you know how it goes. Also good luck on K-swap sx…. Any information will be appreciated. Can I get your suspension parts list for a track eg. Looks amazin, the shell looks like a great base esp in that colour! Few nice mods already on the car for the track aswell!

If its still smoking on vtec then its a possibility that the rings havent seated properly after the rebuild causing oil to pass.

I wouldnt worry about it unless you are producing loads of smoke! Usually vtecs that smoke a bit tend to clear when driven hard on the track anyway, just make sure to keep topping it up between sessions. Joined Apr 21, Messages 3, Great wee car you have found and ace work already.

Maffy mmmm EK9. Joined Aug 8, Messages Looks great and nearly too clean to turn into a track car from the pictures! Love this color in the eg's!! Are you planning in sticking with the lump?

Spray job looks the party in the interior!! Thanks lads I have been having dirty thoughts of a K20a conversion maybe after another tour of Afghan and im minted Ill stick with the B16 for now though, if I can get the car down to around kg should have enough poke to scare some faster cars out on track. Get it down to that sort of weight and your onto a winner on the track, just dont forget about distributing the weight though. Around when I picked up that first "Super Street" mag at the grocery store in Provo, I was surfing the internet and forums for info, photos and mods.

There were many late nights spent dreaming about how I'd build a civic. Here are the links to the stories and photos and even a 3 minute track video. What I noticed from the 3 minute track video is how responsive the engine is.

It revs like a street bike.
