Bootflap 3 years ago 6. What kind of animation style would you guys classify Tomba! It always seemed kind of anime-ish to me but not really, if that makes sense. Ghost in the Shell is pretty fun. You play in the tachikoma the whole time, though. Take me down from the ridge where the summer ends And watch the city spread out just like a jet's flame. Lost7th 3 years ago 9. The Lunar series is great. Fear Effect also has that kind of late 80s early 90s sci fi anime thing going on. Shotgunnova posted It's a Fuchikoma. The PS1 game is based on the Manga. Atarifanboy 3 years ago Arc the lad collection Persona 1 and 2.

Rival Schools I'd kill just to have an old copy of it such original game disc. WizardofHoth posted If you want Rival Schools, I recommend you buy just one of the two discs.
Disc 1 is Arcade and Disc 2 is kind of like Arcade plus. Either way, you can play the game for much cheaper than buying it complete. Celebratox 6 years ago While it was still inferior to the DC version, for a poor kid without a DC it still had the incredible roster and the tightest combat of any versus fighter on PSX. The loading times did suck a bit, but it was better than not having the game at all.
Celebratox posted Honestly, despite those games missing the tag feature unless both sides picked the same characters they were smoother. CVS1 was a far more intense game for the PS1 to run save tagging options and it was highly noticeable to me.
There was also the fact that the PS1 version came around the same time as the sequel so going to it after playing the Dreamcast version first felt like torture. The other games had the leniency of me not having a Saturn very few people did and the two people I knew with one didn't have any of these games or arcade version of them to at the time to truly get the impact of how bad they were then.
This is GameFAQs. People here take great pride in ignoring common sense. Capcom vs. SNK Pro was pretty good. I dig it.
Tekken are fun nostalgia trips, but they're awful games. Battle Arena and Virtua Fighter were both better 3D games. Tekken 3 is invalidated by Tekken Tag - which has a 1v1 mode if you're craving classic Tekken 1v1 without walls and bound. Rival Schools and Soul Blade are very close contenders, but I have a special place in my heart with Tekken 3. It's not, because there were engine and property changes so you can't play Tag like T3 without noticeable differences even 1 vs 1 plus there's an entire game, not just a fighting engine.
People constantly praise T3 for everything else it has as well, things Tag didn't get nearly as much praise for and others it also lacked outright. Tag is also missing two characters from Tekken 3 and it's also a PS2 game.
As an overall game T3 is superior to Tag because it offers so much more but as a fighter then Tag wins since it offers so much more in that particular department.
